I always thought my life would be interesting I just didn't realize the extent of it. As a child I dreamed of getting married and having children. I spent all of my childhood moving from city of city and province to province. My father was in the military. When I was 12 he retired and my family moved to beachcomberville "Gibsons". Boy were we excited. Our family watched "World of Disney and Beachcombers every Sunday. When we moved to the small town I realized it was no different from other communities I had been too. Everybody knew everybody else's business...and what they didn't know they made up. In fact, back in the 70's I knew everyone on the ferry when travelling to Vancouver.......not anymore. It seemed that no one ever moved away. The people who stayed there did the same old jobs...I needed adventure. Leaving the town seemed like an odd thing to do because I loved the area but growing up being a transient it seemed like the right thing to do and felt right.....
